Chamomile Quilt Strip Swap

Have you been wanting to make the Chamomile Quilt from Woodbury Way?
It's on most every quilter's bucket list and we have something fun planned.

On Saturday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. we are hosting a strip trade event.  For the quilt you need 64 – 3 ½” X ½ WOF or 21” strips.    The sample in the shop was made using 64 different low volume Christmas prints.  We know that’s a lot so we thought it would be fun to facilitate the trading of strips.

All you have to do to participate is purchase the pattern and the fabric needed for the sashing and setting posts at the shop the day of the event.

Here’s how it will work.  If you have 32 low volume Christmas prints cut them into 3 - ½” strips X  WOF and cut them in ½.   You keep one piece of each of the 32 prints and bring the other 32 to trade.  Simple. Everyone should be able to leave the event with 64 different prints.

This quilt makes a perfect “I SPY” quilt as well.  Such a fun family treasure.  Hope to see you there.

(There will be a non-refundable $10 sign-up fee that will be credited to your purchase the day of the event).
